Mysterious Light, Mysterious Focus
On Photography: More Fun with Kodak Mysterious Light, Mysterious Focus. Mamiya M645, Mamiya-Sekor 80mm f/1.9, #8 (K2) yellow filter. Kodak Tri-X 400 developed in D-76 1+1.
It looks like there is a lot of light here. There is, in the photograph. When the negative was made the light was pretty low and I opened up the lens to enable a hand-held exposure. The area of focus is pretty minimal but the light has exploded through the frame. As a bonus, this suffers from the Kodak backing paper problem. The letters “ODAK” are visible on the center terracota pot and frame numbers are faintly present in the windows.
